Jump Start + Battery and Charging System Test
A dead battery or a car that won't crank: I come to you, jump it where it sits, then test the battery and the charging system — how the battery holds up under load, and what the alternator is actually putting out with the engine running. You get the readings themselves and a straight answer on whether you're looking at a battery, a charging fault, or something else draining it. Electronic testing only — I don't replace parts, and this is not a mechanical repair. Verified before I come out.

Hybrid & electric · pre-purchase inspection
The most dangerous thing you could do buying a hybrid - sign without someone reading from the high-voltage system.
HYBRID / ELECTRIC PRE-PURCHASE INSPECTION — $199
Hybrid and electric vehicles only · 90–150 minutes · at your location
What I read from the vehicle
- I read live data from the hybrid battery - block voltages, internal resistances, state of charge, temperatures - to tell you honestly if the pack is degrading.
- Insulation resistance on the high-voltage system - if there's leakage, you'd be driving something dangerous without knowing.
- Engine and electric motor data.
- ADAS safety systems - front radar, camera, blind spot - to confirm they can protect you.
- I/M readiness - if monitors aren't ready, someone cleared codes before you'd look, and something is hidden waiting to surface.
- Pending and permanent codes - the ones no scanner can erase, telling you if something happened to this vehicle that someone wanted hidden.
You'd receive a branded, documented PDF report - evidence from the machine - that whoever is selling this car did not want you to see. If something is wrong - you'd know, and you'd walk. If it's clean - you'd sign with certainty. Either way - you'd be free.
Best for: anyone buying a used hybrid or electric vehicle - Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Ford, Hyundai, Kia - where the high-voltage battery is the single most expensive component, and no one at the dealership will check it before you sign.
For hybrid and electric vehicles only. Have a gas vehicle? The standard Pre-Purchase Electronic Inspection ($99) covers it — see the Diagnostics list above.

Not sure which service you need?
Prices are starting prices, not guarantees. Final pricing can depend on vehicle, location, diagnostic complexity and requested procedure. No travel fee within 10 miles of Chattanooga. Beyond 10 miles, a travel fee applies at $2 per round-trip mile, quoted up front before booking. Anything over 30 miles is outside our service area. The $59 Full-System Scan + Digital Report emails you the scanner's PDF report as-is; the $39 Basic OBD-II Scan is codes and definitions only, with no report. Interpretation isn't included in either — that's the $40 Code Interpretation & Next Steps add-on. Compatibility varies by year, make and model — I verify your vehicle and the requested service before confirming any appointment. Electronics, resets and feature coding only; no mechanical repair.
